Set in Sweden in 1975. Elisabeth leaves her husband, Rolf, who has hit her in a
drunken rage. She takes her two children to stay with her brother in the
commune. They can't understand how they can all live without meat or
television. The household members are put out by the intrusion, and two of its
inhabitants defect to the rival "Mother Earth" commune. Just as
everyone is settling in nicely, Rolf shows up. He desperately wants Elisabeth
and the children back in his life. Together was nominated for an International
Spirits Award, and received the Fipresci Prize at the Stockholm Film Festival
in 2000. Directed by Lukas Moodysson, and stars Lisa Lindgren and Michael

Nynne is single and works for a magazine in central Copenhagen. It is her 35th
birthday and her girlfriends try to cheer her up with a questionnaire on how to
find the ideal man. All through the day, Nynne is distracted by her despair at
still being single and when she finds out that a Swedish author is being
interviewed by a colleague, she engineers a meeting with him in the lift.
Pretending to know something about Nordic literature she coerces him into
inviting her for a drink that evening. But with too many martinis under her
belt, and her misinterpretation of his book, lead the gentleman with little

Nynne's attempt at a romantic evening with the Swedish writer turned sour and
she doesn't have the nerve to front up at work. When she arrives, Anne is
furious with her for standing her up the night before and her boss, Jacob,
thinks she's not pulling her weight and missing deadlines. Nynne takes stock
and decides that chasing men and looking gorgeous is superficial and she turns
up at work the next day dressed in a sloppy tracksuit and with no make-up. The
new Nynne is the human Nynne, she declares...until a gorgeous photographer

- much against his will - has been admitted. The father has locked himself in a
